if its anything like CoD3, I will not buy it. There's dozens of WWII games out there, but hardly any that are in a modern setting, with real weapons and nothing to do with sci-fi. CoD4 actually filled a gap in the market.cheames748I think you're forgetting every Tom Clancy game evermade.

sorry, i forgot to say, i was only talking about fun games.
Is it a done deal that Treyarch is developing COD5? Because if so, that sucks. I loved COD2 and COD4 but I got severely irritated with COD3 at points. Like randomly getting stuck against a wall. I just thought 3 was very sloppy compared to 2 & 4, it felt more like an early Medal of Honor game to me.
I also agree that COD5 should be in a modern setting. Although I'm a WWII buff and have enjoyed the selection of WWII shooters, it's getting kind of old. There's only so many battles you can fight in that era. I just played through the COD4 campaign this week and thought it was an amazing experience, although it was pretty short. I would love to see a continuation of that game more than anything.

How can you say R6V and GRAW are not fun?
Hour of Victory anyone?:PSly_Godfather
you can't compare Hour of Victory to any other WW2 shooter. Sure the genre has been done to death but Hour of Victory was a special breed of lousy. Hour of Victory sucked as a game in general, not just because it was WW2. and yes, italians DO do it better.

because i did not enjoy either of those games.
I don't think I'll get another non Infinity Ward COD. I got burned with COD3.elektrixxx
I knew from the start not to get CoD3. They made the last-gen port of CoD2 and it got TERRIBLE scores. So, I just knew to pass the third one and hope the fourth was done by Infinity Ward. It was and is AMAZING. (sorry, I like using caps)
CoD3 wasn't crap, it just wasn't as good as CoD2. 5 will be the same, a decent game that COULD have been a great game.....but isn't.DZBricktop
ya i gotta agree with him, it wasnt crap cus many people played it and at times it was really fun, but it lacked many things that COD4 deliverd and i can see the Cod5 being even better!!
