im just thinking since cod3 was a piece of crap and i almost vometed cuz it was so horrible, maybe treyarch will come up with some new ideas that everybody will like and learn from their mistakes. What would u like to see in call of duty 5 that hasnt been seen yet in previous world war 2 shooters?

Yeah COD3 was some crap. I don't think the 5th one can be as good as COD2.

I'd like to see CoD5 continue with the environment of CoD4, not another WW2. If its WW2, then Im not buying it.

I heard it is going to be WW2 which would BLOW!!! I'm so sick of it and CoD4 is SO much better! I love the modern day warfare much more.

CoD3 wasn't crap, it just wasn't as good as CoD2. 5 will be the same, a decent game that COULD have been a great game.....but isn't.

Not buying another World War II shooter unless it is a Brothers in Arms game. MODERN WARFARE only.

if its anything like CoD3, I will not buy it. There's dozens of WWII games out there, but hardly any that are in a modern setting, with real weapons and nothing to do with sci-fi. CoD4 actually filled a gap in the market.

For me, the question is whether they can get new missions in WWII that haven't been explored. The only WWII game I'll play now is Brothers in Arms, so I have no high hopes for CoD 5. Well, I've never been a fan of the series, anyway, but this takes everything Infinity Ward backwards.

Is it a done deal that Treyarch is developing COD5? Because if so, that sucks. I loved COD2 and COD4 but I got severely irritated with COD3 at points. Like randomly getting stuck against a wall. I just thought 3 was very sloppy compared to 2 & 4, it felt more like an early Medal of Honor game to me.

I also agree that COD5 should be in a modern setting. Although I'm a WWII buff and have enjoyed the selection of WWII shooters, it's getting kind of old. There's only so many battles you can fight in that era. I just played through the COD4 campaign this week and thought it was an amazing experience, although it was pretty short. I would love to see a continuation of that game more than anything.

It better be modern day because the new Brother's in Arms game will blow the doors off of the WWII COD games.

What I would like to see in COD 5 is more of the same as 4. They need to re-balance the LMG and shotguns however.

COD5 should add a cover system like RSV and keep it modern. That would be awesome. It kind of pisses me off how I see my men and the enemy taking cover and I can't.

call of duty 3 was a good shooter but it wasn't as good as any of Infinity Ward's offerings CoD4 and 2 run circles around it but it's still a better shooter than a lot of the garbage that gets made.

Hour of Victory anyone?:PSly_Godfather

you can't compare Hour of Victory to any other WW2 shooter. Sure the genre has been done to death but Hour of Victory was a special breed of lousy. Hour of Victory sucked as a game in general, not just because it was WW2. and yes, italians DO do it better.

I knew from the start not to get CoD3. They made the last-gen port of CoD2 and it got TERRIBLE scores. So, I just knew to pass the third one and hope the fourth was done by Infinity Ward. It was and is AMAZING. (sorry, I like using caps)
