COD5? is it going to Blow or Kick asss?

I personaly Love CoD4 and welcomed the change to InfinitWard and to modern times, WWII is alittle over played, and modern times is a tuff one to tackle but was done very well by InfinityWard, Do you think the change back will be good because it's returning to WWII or will it be another dissappointment? and do you think it should return to WWII at all? or between develipors?

i personly like InfinityWard better and would of liked to see a fallow up to CoD4 by InfinityWard, seeing ass it won awards and sold so well, and is one of the best online games out there and will be for sometime.

So what do you think?

And even if it is 'Good' .. im pretty sure I wont be buying it .. There are just too many WW2 games out there and I for one am SICK of them!

CoD2 and CoD4 by Infinity Ward = Awesome Games

CoD3 and CoD5 by Treyarch = Suck @$$ Games

I think it will be a good game in it's own right. Don't be expecting a real call of duty game, but it should be pretty good. Call of Duty 3 was kind of like that, in the sense that it was a completely different game series with the name Call of Duty on it. So try not to think of it as a call of duty game, but more of a different game series, because vehicles were pretty good in CoD 3. Now about the WWII setting; I think it is over done, but at least they're not doing Normandy, France, Africa, Stalingrad, The Ardenes, or The Rhine Rhur area. It shouldn't be that bad, we haven't seen more than one or two pacific theatre games, and I pretty sure we have never seen a game that has you as a Russian taking over Germany. If done right I think this game could have a completely different feal to it, but I would have to see game-play. Also it's going to have four player co-op, and that's always good. As of right now, I MIGHT buy it, it depends if they give it a fresh feel.

I'm going to buy it, enjoy it, and love every minute of online play without the **** and complaining of the GameFaq/Gamespot community playing the game. Since they claim to not be getting a game that has one little article about it and nothing else.Tsunami23

To be honest, I actually want another WWII game. I haven't bought one since Call of Duty for PC. I thought WWII was far too played out then. Passed on all the other COD's (did buy 4 though) and all other WWII set games.

But now, I actually would enjoy a nice game like that. If it's done right that is. It still has to be something else from the crowd. But the panicy feeling must definitely be there. Maybe a game where one of the missions is you being a Jew and watching thousands die before you get killed yourself? Just like the cutscene in COD4 where you get excecuted. It would definitely bring forward the horror of WWII. Something which I haven't seen any game do right.

But after seeing some other user posting Treyarch is going to make it I'll pass. I didn't buy any of the 2 and 3 COD's, but I've played them and 3 was beyond crap. If Infinity Ward made it I would have thought about it.

They meant WWII is played out. Not just the COD games, all of WWII games.

i loved every minute of COD 3 the story was great the explotions the battles etc

I liked the Jewish idea that ayneus (spelling sorry mate) said. I think it would be sick but, it would really set the tone for the rest of the game if you were to play as that character if you escaped with a Team of other jews (Cod was never a lone wolf game frankly they shouldnt change that)

Aslong as they dont go back to normandy etc it will be fine. but Although Treyarch are making it. I dont care it will be a Great game if they sit down think it through.

i am not sure what to make of it i like the cod4 now as it is maybe with some upgrades i think they should use what they have and make it better by asking players in an opinion poll i think

Im going to buy it because it could be a really good game you never know

ww2 is the best and im glad i wont have to deal with all these f***ing fanboys that are always complaining about everything

sure cod4 was one of my favorite games ever but these fanboys are against anything not cod

like i go to read some forums for battlefield (which is much more fun) and all i get is "cod blows this game away" "this game completely sucks compared to cod" and im like I DONT GIVE A SH** ABOUT COD ANYMORE sure i played 44 hours online but at least i can get over something new

Well, Brothers In Arms is an on-going story, so if they all of a sudden went from WWII to 'Nam, it wouldn't make much sense. As for Medal Of Honor, well, everyone's too busy complaining about Call Of Duty.

you do realize that they will be making the gameplay very similar to COD4... they arent gonna start from scratch dude trust me. This game is gonna be as good or better than COD4... They have the money and time to make this game epic.

Blow. ive stuck to only playing the even numbered increments of COD (i.e. 2,4) and that has served me pretty well :) god knows why but they changed up the dev team for 3, which sucked, and now their doing it again with 5. personally i just cant wait for 6. ha.ItalianSta11ion

Way to prove a fantastic point. You say you have only played the evenly numbered games, then turn around and say number 3, a game that you just said you didn't play, sucks.
