Colons everywhere

Has anyone else noticed an over abundance of colons in games now.

EXAMPLE!

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Kany and Lynch: Dead Men, Legendary: The Box, MX vs. ATV: Untamed, Blacksite: Area 51, Kingdom Under Fire: COD, C&C 3: Tiberian Wars, Soldier of Fortune: Payback, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Condemned 2: Bloodshot and Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords.

These are just the games I saw on the Xbox homepage...Do we really need these second clauses to explain what the game is? Would I be less willing to buy MX vs. ATV if I was unaware that it was UNTAMED.

Most of those games are sequels so there should be.

Derr, this post shows little relivance to gaming! Alert the masses that there is humor being shown in threads so that we can get back to playing halo!

I couldn't agree more. I'm very sick of the colons for the most part, and as for the sequels...colons or numbers...not both. Guitar Hero III would have been a fine tital.

I'd also agree that it's an attempt to make it seem like there is more too the game.
