Does Xbox Live have some extremely low cap or something? I have recently got comcast in my area, and I have the 50 Megabit plan, anyways it seems like a GB takes over 15 minutes and that does not seem right?

here is my results........

so does live have some stupid cap? Or am i expecting too much lol

Also I am using wired NOT wireless

If you are talking about downloading something from the marketplace then yes it always goes that slow regardless of your internet speed or internet service provider.

ya, but shouldn't it be faster, i mean there was a big difference from 1.5 to 7, then 7 to 20, but no jump from 20 to 50?

Nah it has nothing to do with your connection trust me it is just the xbox live marketplace server being slow as normal it always has been and most likely always will be.

I believe Microsoft caps its download speeds just like most services do, so you wouldn't see a huge difference between 25 to 50 as you would from 3 to 7. It should make your hosting in games better though.

I always thought there was a "cap." It felt like it anyways.

I have Comcast, and my 360 is direct connected. I've never felt that the downloads go slow, but maybe that's just me. Sorry to hear you're having problems :/
