Command & Conquer 3 (X360) Help?! : Sarajevo , commando, avatar

I have looked over the Gamespot walkthrough, for the Sarajevo board of the GDI campaign.

I am still having trouble getting the bonus objective for destroying a NodAvatar with my Commando.

Is there a particular sequence of events that needs to take place?

The objective is posted and available, I have postponed destroying any field generators.

I have only seen one avatar yet. I saved the game where he appears, and repeatedly try to blow him up, but I never get awarded the objective.

PLEASE HELP!!! The redundancy is driving me CRAZY!!!

It's not a glitch

On Hard, there is only one of them. Make sure your base is well guarded. Take your time and build up an army. Then Get about 5 or more tanks and a group of rabbits (for speed) , take them to the Tiberium field to the far East (Right) and set them so they don't attack anything (You will have to check with them from time to time because they will get attacked). Set the tanks to a group so it is easier to select them. Get your Commando near the tanks.Make sure you take out the two towers guarding the ramp on the far East (I had 8 airplanes that I just sent over there and bombed them). When you are set up, SAVE, you only get one chance.

Take the group of rabbits on a suicide mission and run them down the far East ramp into their base. You will hear a message from the command center that you have breached the walls of their base. After that happens they should send one after you along the right side. Select your tanks and individually take out the scorpion tanks and everything else that comes your way. When the avatar shows up it will attack your tanks and probably take a couple out (Oh Well)...Jet pack in and target it with your commando and he will blow it up. Job Done.
