I was wondering about 2 seperate games, and I didnt want to write 2 different topics. Ive played and beaten pretty much every big name 360 title there is, and I need something new to tide me over until the Darkness comes out, and i dont like racing games like Forza, so the only choice within the next month and a half is C&C 3.

Command and Conquer 3- I wasnt sure about this one, Ive played previous C&C games like Red Alert 2, Generals, etc. and loved them. My pc isnt good enough to play any new games, so thats out of the question. Im not a giant strategy fan, but I do like the genre. I played Battle For Middle Earth 2, and really just didnt get into it because I was playing games like Gears, R6 Vegas, and Oblivion. Ive always liked the C&C games more than the Age Of Empires type RTS games. And now the reviews are out, and theyre pretty darn good, I might get it. anyone who has played, is it really good? And does it have a skirmish mode where I can play against the AI, because I dont have Xbox Live.

The Outfit- This game didnt get very good reviews, but I was reading in an old issue of OXM, and they gave it an 8.5, and amazon reviewers gave it an average of 3.5 stars. It is only 10 bucks on amazon. Should I buy it? Does it also have a skirmish mode against the AI, or is it strictly a single player game?

from what i heard C&C3 is a good game so yea you should get that but as for the outfit i played and finished the game and all i can say is that its mediocre at best once you play one level you played them all, all you pretty much do is capture enemy bases so i dont recommened even buying the game for $10.

CnC for sure, the demo got me excited for the game, but I haven't bought it yet,

Outfit is alright, it has some seriously annoying gameplay aspects that make you say ?umm wtf were the developers thinking? but it is alright, it was fun playing coop with my friend.

Playing an RTS on a console is like trying to steer a car without arms.

Well, if you've played RTS games on PC for a while, it really is, in comparison. If you haven't, you won't miss the ability to quickly react, the precision, etc.

I really didn't dig the Outfit at all, (although the online was OK-ish).

C&C is pretty awesome though, I'm having a really good time with it.  It looks great, (playing on a real nice HDTV here so can't vouch for SD graphics), has a ton of missions spread across 3 factions & it's just damned fun to play.  The amount of carnage can get pretty ridiculous, (orbital nukes rock!).  There's also 4 online variants for 2-4 players & an offline skirmish mode.  I'd say go with C&C, it should keep you busy for a while.
