i think it would be better on xbox 360...most games gett better reviews on 360 anyway,and i would take this to system wars,it doesnt bother me but some peaple might freak out lol
Of course the PS3 version is gonna have some extra polish because they've had an extra year to work on the game. If they had delayed the 360 version for a year it would look exactly the same. :)

Games developed for the PS3 will look better especially if you have an HDTV. Games developed for the 360 will usually look the same or better on the 360. If the took an extra year to port it, and their original work was stored at high enough resolution (odds are good it was), then it should come out looking better on the PS3.

Gears of War looks better then anything the PS3 has released thus far. In the future... maybe but I think the 360 will look just as good.
Comparison pics on the internet are usually very unreliable. Often they are taken from different TV's, website's etc. Especially since the game isn't out yet. If they're taken from the same HDTV.. then okay.

Well, there is 2 completely different hardware. You can't just simply port and polish. That's now how it works. if anything they already explained they had to retool the entire game to take advantage of RSX and Cell since they're so much different then what the 360 has. It wasn't a simple process like that. If it were like that you would see a lot of great ports but you don't. There's a reason why it took a year instead of coming out at launch for the PS3.
they are suppose to release a patch for the 360 version to increase visuals. They found out how to do some cool lighting effects with the game engine. But in all likelyhood, the ps3 version will be the best since they had the most time to work on it. Does it prove that ps3 has superior power? i don't think so.
