Conan Demo.

I've been playing the Demo for the past hour or so. So far, it's pretty much what I expected. A button pushing sword slasher. BUT! By no means do I mean to belittle the game by saying "Button pushing."

The gore and chopping goodness, is great! Chopping heads off, slicing arms and legs off.... all good! Lots of blood and lots of bodies. Conan looks big like he should. The look is decent. But nothing to write home about.

I thought the CSs, were lame. Graphic wise. Lacked a bit of intensity.

All in all... I won't be buying the game. But will play the demo for a day or two. Doubt I will change my mind too. Still into Vegas, Halo 3, and others.

Plus Orange Box, and Ass Creed comes out in a few weeks.

I found the graphics to be far from finished. Gameplay is a little as well. It feels like a PS2 game. Its fun, but not fun enough for 60 bucks.arab_prince

You took the words right out of my mouth. It feels like a cheap rip-off of the God of War franchise.

The combat was really slow, and I found the blocking quite unreponsive. The game didn't really want you to string combos together cos the enemies counters were much quicker than yours.

Won't be getting it. Why is God of War a Sony only game?? Weak...

First of all this game cant hold a candle to God Of War, and second the only thing that is kind of like GOW is the little orbs that you get when you kill people but thats no big deal.

I love Conan, and this demo COULD have made me buy the game but it wasn't even close.

Sub-par graphics, horrible camera angles, lame combat system (Conan doesn't do combos!), and they didn't even have him double-wielding his own barbarian sword! Only that ridiculous schimitar thing?

Correction they tried to rip off god of war and ended with a really crappy game. The camera and graphics are atrocious.
