With my new PC, I got a cable with 3 sockets on the end for the 3 component cable..thingies (red, blue and green). On the other end, it a circular thing, that I can plug into my PC (it's just under a centimeter in diameter, and has some metal pins, and a thin, straight piece on the end, which are inside a hollow 'shell' or something..erk). I guessed that I might be able to run my 360 on my monitor (which at the moment is the only HD screen in my house), but I'm not sure how to get the 360 up on the screen. I'm using Vista, which I'm a bit new to, so I'm sure exactly what to click to get it working. I've checked in the Hardware Devices bit on the control panel, but I can't see the 360 there. can anyone help?

PS: Sorry for the lack of technical terms...

You can hook it up with these. Just connect it to the VGA input on the back of your monitor.

The cable doesn't go into the VGA socket...it's small, and circular.
