i had this problem, it iritated me.. but apparently it's common. u need a router... once u have a router all your problems should be solved. u can pick up some routers cheap for $30 and up. $120 is probably the most expensive. ive had a 30 dollar router for 6 monthes and it still works perfectly. hope that helped.

How can i get the dongle to share the IP address. or how did you get it to connect?

Go into the set up for your router. I don't know which brand or model you may have, so can't give you proper directions. What you need to do is look for an option that allows you to clone a MAC address. From there, clone the MAC address of the PC which is able to connect to the Internet. Save and try again.

I have a U.s Robotics model 9107A ADSL2+ 4 port router, it has an easy configure option but keeps failing on the ISP address. Ive tryed the pc address the xbox address and the default device address. all fail and keep going back to the default setting.
