Ive got kind of an interesting setup. my pc is connected to my wireless network via a netgear rangemax wireless usb 2.0 adapter. my xbox is then connected to my pc via a crossover cable and a shared connection. the problem is that my pc says i have excellent signal but my xbox signal strength sucks. any ideas?

Well it should be a bridged connection, but wireless is very spuradic anyway. Try downloading something or go online and check your connection strength while in a multiplayer game (lil green bar usually).

If your bridging your connection from your laptop you shouldn't see any signal bars as it is then considered to be a wired connection.
