my previous topic got locked for some odd reason. Dont know y lol. anyways heres the info again:

when i looked at the 360, I saw quite a bit of rpgs that caught my eye (ex tales of vesperia, infinite undiscovery etc). This may seem odd considering most ppl that buy a 360 are more interested in games like gears and halo. But 360 also has RPG's. and as a hardcore RPG fan, those are the games i want to play lol.

So before i decide anyhting i need some information.

RROD: One of the main things that has been keeping me from getting a 360 for awhile now. Has the problems been fixed or are they any better?? Is the elite version more RROD proff then the Pro?

Also i plan on keeping multiplat games on PS3 due to the fact that i already have a solid library for them, and dont want to pay for online play. needless to say i dont plan on subscribing to xbox live lol.(i apologize if this unintentionally starts a flame war)

now knowing that i am trying to avoid RROD and that i plan on using 360 for exclusive titles only, Should i go with the pro version or the elite??

The pro should be fine if you don't expect to use xbox live.

any version would do, man, as long as you take care of it and not stick it somewhere near a heat source and/or cluttered. its all good.

Your shouldn't worry about the RROD. As long as you keep your 360 somewhere open and make sure the dust doesnt' clutter up on it, you will be fine. Enjoy the system, it will hardly let you down.

keep it in a place not near a radiator etc or blocking the ventilation holes and you will be fine, when i first got mine i was petrified and so cautious about the ring of death but now i never worry

emmm you have 3 year standard warranty for RRoD from Microsoft and if you realy realy... wanna be on the safe side, buy a Pro + extended warranty plan.

As for Xbox Live i own a PS3 as well and it doesnt compare. once you try it you wont go back to PSN.

My xbox has croaked like 5 times lol, and I will admit that live is one of the big arguments 4 gettin 1 so :S

But hey, if you want the games and u got the money, go for it. I dont play those rpgs, but i wudnt swap my xbox for the world :)

I wud recommend at least using your months trial for live though, it might surprise you ;)
