console wont turn on from controller

i don't know if this is anything i should be worried about, but..

i went to turn on my console this morning from the controller, and it wouldn't turn on. the controller just lit up all 4 lights and blinked at me, anything i should be worried about or are the batteries just dying or something?

everythings fine now, but i'm just curious if this is usual. (i only bought it monday)

I dont think it has ever happened to me, but I have had my console for a very long time now. Try putting in some new batteries or recharging the battery pack. Also try re-syncing the controller to the console.

so it is a sign of batteries dying then?
