So I'm trying to play call of duty 3 over xbox live but everytime i try to join a match the message "cannot connect to all players" comes up, or the message "could not connect to hosting player" comes up- is there something I can do about this? It's really getting annoying.

i had exactly the same thing i think it has something to do with youre NAT settings or one of the other settings. mine was set to strict i dont know why and it stopped me gettin on xbl with call of duty 3 and in tournament on pgr3 when i bought a new 360 the setting was no longer on strict it was on open and i could play on COD3. im not sure how you change the settins if you can do it through the dashboard or if you have to contact youre ISP but i think that is youre problem mate.

I had that message the first few times I played.  After a while, I started getting into games. It still took a while, but I could atleast get into a game.  You will have more luck going to the Call of Duty 3 forum, I think there's something about port forwarding that makes connecting to games easier.  I'm not sure what all that means though.

I get that on my PS3 all the time. Is it CoD3 or our connections?
