Contoller Help

So today i go to start up my 360 and my controller wont connect. So i try syncing it but the sync button won't work unless i press the guide button and then press sync. I do this and then press sync on the 360 and the controller stops trying to sync and starts flashing again as if i had pressed the guide button???

I have tried to charge it with a plug and play kit but it doesnt charge, i also tried a different battery pack (with batteries) but it still won't work

Help?!

when a pet dies; most replace it with a new one.. Same for controllers

i know this is stupid but have you made sure the batterys are in the right way? are they brandnew? they have to me AA batteries you probley already know this but if you don't just giving you a heads up. There is also a sync button on the 360 if you didn't know that so try doing that. There is not much else I can say but try to buy another 1 or maybe borrow one from a friend if you dont have enough money :D
