Well i never ended up buying the first contra, but will more then likely buy Super Contra. Do you guys think Contra or Super Contra is the better game and which is more worth it? I figured to go with Super Contra, but i'm not really sure. I'll prob end up getting both but what would be your guys pick between the 2? thanks.

well Super C is contra part2, just to let you know, they were both on the original NES, they were both great, but i suggest u get the first one, wait a little while then get contra2.
actually its Super Contra...super c was the nintendo release. These are arcade games not the NES games, so they're a little different. I do appreciate the response but these are the arcade versions. If i get them both ill get them at the same time, play one and beat it , then play the other.

ofcourse although only slightly different its basically the same between the nes and arcade version, super contra is still the sequel to contra.
Depends how much you want to torture yourself. Contra is classic. It's got great multiplayer. So does SUper C, but its about 5X harder than the original.
