how come the 360 controllers are so expensive?  i wanted to buy one for my pc but it cost a lot  even for the wired!

No it doesn't. It doesn't cost anymore than it does to make a PS2 controller. People just get the idea that there's something "special" about them since they're for next-gen consoles, when they're just run-of-the-mill controllers.

Just look at the functions of a 360 controller. 4 buttons for the right thumb (just like PS2), two joysticks (just like PS2), d-pad (just like PS2), two shoulder buttons on each side (just like PS2). Nothing special. They should be cheaper, and it's a ripoff to have to pay more for a controller than it costs to buy some games.
