I have a problem with my 360 charger, i used it all the time, then i stopped playing 360 for a few months while leaving it plugged into the console.

Now when i try to use it, it don't work properly. Like, it won't charge the battery in my controller, but it if i leave the wire connected itll work, but displaying a green light on the controller yet when i press start, the controller is on like 1 bar.

I've tried unplugging it and putting it back in but that don't work. The charger is http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/719747/Official-Xbox-360-Play-Charge-Kit/Product.html

Has anybody experienced this before? if so how do i fix it, or do i need to buy another?

thanks,

are you sure you turned the controller on then waited a few seconds until the 360 is up and running. then only turn off the 360. you should have a red light indicating that the battery is charging. if that does not work maybe buy a new battery.

Well when i switch the 360 on via the controller the light goes red for a few seconds then turns green, and when i turn it off the controller doesnt charge either so i don't know.

I doubt the battery has died because i have not charged it that many times, as i didnt play on my 360 for a few months it wasnt used.

Woudl it be the battery thats dead though or the cable itself?
