Controller Charging Question

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a 360 to take with me back to school, but I have a question about controllers. I know there is an accessory that recharges the controller while you play via USB, but there is a way to recharge it right out of the box right? I don't mind not being able to play while it charges. It seems weird that there wouldn't be, but I just want to make sure.

It doesn't come in the premium box? There's no way to charge the included controller without buying an accessory?

The controller comes with AA batteries. If you want a rechargeable battery pack, you have to buy them seperatly with the two charging kits mentioned previously. You could always stick with AA batteries and just use those kind of batteries but I prefer the rechargeable kit myself.
