Does anyone know how to stop their controller triggers from squeaking all rustily? My old controller does it and I recently got a black one which didn't take more than a week to have RT start squeaking. I mean should I oil the damn thing? The D-Pad also makes a loud clacking sound. I can't wait for some good 3rd party controllers to come out.

My controller had a similar problem the right analog stick kept squeak and I only had it for a week or so it was so annoying I remember tossing it at one point but luckily it stopped squeak.

Well, after hours apon hours end of usage. You will notice it squeeks... Well, there is no really solved resolution to this... If you are dumb like my buddy was... You go back to were you got you're remote and try to trade it in... But good luck on that... Heheh...

Haha, I have the same problem too. On the right trigger on Saint's Row I used to press the trigger quick and it would make a squeek noise. Oh well.

Same here, my right analog-stick when I move it, it makes this tiny squeak, it gets annoying but I rarely hear it because I raise up the volume on my speakers so the squeaking will die down. Does WD 40 help? I don't want to mess with it because I am afraid it will break and not work anymore, only have one.

My right trigger squeaked right out of the box, but it was near launch and I had gotten the last one at the store. A little WD40 around the trigger, leave it to dry and it hasn't squeaked once since then to now. I did the same on my Xplorer for Guitar Hero 2, all around the fret buttons since they stuck just a bit and they've been playing smoothly since.

mine squeaked like a rusty old bed thats seen too much action lol I put the tinyiest bit of heated (so it went runnier) vaseline mixed with a drop of WD40 around the sides of my RT. It worked brilliantly and I think it works better than when I bought it brand new !!

but thats solving the noise but not the problem of it squeaking, what If you have a annoying landlord who hates loud noises of any kind but does'nt think the sound of his wife groaning and the bedstead creaking under his massive weight counts as a loud sound.
