o.k so lately one of my wireless controllers only works when it's plugged in (through play and charge kit). when it's plugged in i open up the guide and it shows full battery but as soon as i take the cable out it goes off. it's really anoying because i've got used to just sitting down and turning the xbox on from my controller but now i have to go and sit next to the t.v.

has anybody else had this problem? does anybody know how to fix it?

thanks in advance for any help.

I had the exact same problem. The controller was fine, it was just a faulty battery.

yeah my boy bought a black one to play over here for madden. It dosent cut completly off but it does cut off and right back on if you shake it just a litle bit. All these problems with the box i think ill be goiong back to sony next time around. I only switched to xbox cuz I went thru 4 ps2's and ont he last one decided to trade it in for the 360, but with rrod, faulty controllers and all that Ill be switching back next gen. I never switch in the middle of a generations life cycle.

I have a similar problem, i did manage to find the customer support thing and it appears to be caused by plugging it in, charging it, than taking it out before its fully charged

wrecks the battery or somethin :/
