Is there going to be a Splinter Cell conviction playable co-op demo soon coming to the xbox LIVE marketplace?

I don't think so, I watched the Inside Xbox video on XBL. It was entirely about the co-op and no sort of demo was announced.

I'm on edge of whether I want to get this game, I hope there is a demo myself.

But I highly doubt it.

Ubisoft Montreal said that there would be a demo 'in January', but with no details of what it would consist of.

Hopefully. The SCDA multiplayer demo is still one of the most popular demos on Live because it lets you play essentially a proper match, albeit with limited map selection.
