i dunno if you want games like Mass Effect, Halo, Burnout, DMC4, Forza 2, PGR4, Assasins Creed, Rock Band, Virtua Fighter, Kameo, Ace Combat, Eternal Sonata blah blah
If you get a 360, you can play with your buddies who come over to your place. This beats crotching a single monitor.

This is assuming he has friends....
XBOX 360 and the Wii are both a must have, but since we're talking about the 360; it has more games than any other new console, has some great games like DEAD RISING, HALO, and MASS EFFECT that you can't get for any other gaming systems, but for me the best thing it has going for it besides the games has to be the achievements, which gives you a good reason to keep playing games even after you've finished them.

He's a PC elitist and he never wanted a 360, that much was clear from the beginning. I'm probably right about him touching himself over this thread.

ok fair enough...I'll do my best to help you out then
Personally, if I had a set-up like that I wouldnt be buying a 360.....
BUT if you are interested in the exclusives such as mass effect, halo, dead rising, forza 2, NBA 2k8, etc. etc. then its worth it
also, if your into sports games, its definetly worht it.....the sports games for PC suck, and this is coming from someone who was a PC Gamer only from 1995 to mid-2007
If you are only interested in the most common shooters, Call of duties, resident evil, Grand theft auto, battlefields...things like that, then I don't really think its worth it, since you've pumped all that cash into your very impressive PC
Personally I just like sitting at my big screen with a controller....its my prefered way to play, everybody is different
I own all three next gen consoles and a PC that can play a good majority of games, It can run Crysis at its lowest settings at 720 resilution. the advantage to the 360 and ps3 are the media center capbilities and the Multiplayer. the 360 can connect to your Windows Media Center PC and can do some pretty cool stuff on your Big Screen in the living room. the PS3 also has the Ability to stream Media off your computer though the interface isn't as pritty it works faster than the 360 windows connect system.
But the biggest reason is to play games like rock band with your friends. that is something I thing everyone should do. Remember
playing the origional Halo spilt screen and everyone playing around your little 24" TV in your bedroom. that is gaming at its best.
Plus Achievements are addictive.
Wow..you can deduce that from a few negative posts in a 360 forum?[QUOTE="MsCortana"][QUOTE="ixi311downerixi"]i rest my case most alot of the 360'ers are dicks, not all but alotixi311downerixi
haha no it was meant towards the people who are just shootin me down adnactually im touching myself bc i want you ronnet inside me
You have no room for that I'm afraid, but not all is lost here is a thread that will help you convince yourself to get a 360.
do some research on the exclusive titles. if you really want a 360, just buy it, simple as that.
since youre asking us to convince you, you also have the money for it.
Im not beeing a prick or anything, but I find it kinda a stupid question. you have to make your own decissions, like we all do.
why did i bother responding, you obviously never wanted a 360. You must have a really good life if this is your idea of fun and the size of sig clarifies this
I won't be a jerk like most everyone else here and give you snobbish responses. Here we go:
The Xbox 360 can arguably be called the most powerful system out there, although that's debatable. It features a huge and incredibly strong library of games, including some of the best AAAE's out there. While, the online service isn't free, it's the best out there: even better than that on your computer. Friends are easily tracked via your friend's list and you can even ensure that there are people you never play with again. Also, the Xbox 360 features an extensive marketplace where you can get game add-ons, movies, TV shows, demos, music videos and even old Xbox games. Beyond that, Xbox 360 is an excellent multimedia device that enables you to stream video, pictures, and music through your PC.
Cons to the 360:
The RROD. Most 360's will eventually have a crash called the RROD. While, it's severe, let's not blow it out of proportion. You'll usually get about a year out of it (even more with the improved Falcon chips, assuming you get a console with them), which is great. When you do get the RROD, it's absolutely free to get your 360 repaired. Yes, this takes a few weeks, but you said you have a nice PC, why not spend that time playing with that?
Lack of included new video format (HD-DVD or Blu-Ray). Actually... not a problem at all. Especially with the format war going on. It's wise to wait out the war until HD-DVD is defeated because you'll end up missing out no matter which you buy right now. Just consider it saved money. Gaw, I hate this format war.
I already have a HIGH end computer that i game on......but convince me to get a 360ixi311downerixi
Get off your high horse. We aren't here to serve you. No one cares about you or your HIGH end computer.
Like what was said before, if you have to be convinced, then don't get one. So go shove it.
lets just say if we convinced you right now to get an 360. and youre pluggin it in and turning it on and in the end youre getting dissapointed...I mean you have a HIGH end PC and everything..are we the ones to blame if that happens? we convinced you remember?

Why switch to 360?
You have these sweet titles: Crysis, COD4, SupCom and Forged Alliance, Sins of a Solar Empire, Frontlines, ET: Quake Wars, Half-Life 2 and its expansions etc etc.
Do you want to waste $300 on a console? Besides, a lot of games are porting to PC (hopefully great ports) and there are PC exclusives so there is no reason to switch to console. Unless you want to become a dumdum LOL.
About getting a 360, just look at the games it has and if they please you
rabisu999
thats all there is to it..
the 360 isnt that different compared to a highend gaming pc. except the exclusive games.
cya. thankyou to all the people who didnt turn this into bashing and gave me a straight anwser.cya
ixi311downerixi
please dont go..:|
you missed my point. do some research on your own man. all I can say is that I never liked PC gaming other than some VERY old shooters every now and then. Ive been a console gamer all my life and the 360 happens to have to best lineup of games imo. that the reason why I bought the 360.
