I am a wii owner and i love the chances it gives me to experiance new styles of gameplay. That said, im still looking to buy a 360 or ps3. I want a graphical powerhouse to experiance games like gta, res 5 and assassins creed.

So im stuck, i am more attracted to the 360 and i always found sony a bit arrogant but im still undecided.

So reasons to join the 360 team please............

Seeing that all of those games you just metioned will be on both systems, id pick the 360.  Better online and IMO a better all around experience

We've got better exclusives, such as Halo 3 and Gears of War (and its sequels when they come out). And we're cheaper.

Pros:

better games so far

xbox live is the best online service at the moment (this coming from me: a ps3 and 360 owner)

Cons:

- Ps3 is a more powerful and reliable console overall

- Some cool exclusives coming up.

- Blu-ray movies out of the box (meaning that the 360 needs the add-on for hd-dvds)

Bottom Line:

Right now, the 360 is the best console to have.

I am no fanboy, the only reason I don't have a ps3 sitting in my room is simply because of the price and lack of games. Well, the 360 has an awesome library and, no offense, it's ALOT better than what the Wii is offering at the moment in my opinion. I used to be a Nintendo fan, but they keep messing up. But anyway, you can expect a big name title to be released every other month, if not EVERY month. The Live service, although it costs, is worth it in my opinion. Getting to play with others and teting your skills is enjoyable. Accessories, which are often forgotten, can be found for all your needs when it comes to the 360. With all that said, if you don't take good care of it, it will possibly break down on you. It's not a 100% chance, but it can happen. I can't give you the positives without the negatives right? lol

If you still can't decide, just look up some games and see if it's worth it.

The PS3 has Resistance: Fall of Man.

And nothing else of considerable merit.

Because I like to buy American products rather than sell my soul to the Devil in order to afford a foreign game system.  Oh, and the 360 has way better exclusives.  Plus it's CHEAPER!

You said exactly what I was going to say.  And for the poster of this topic, remember that a lot of things about the PS3 is only a big bunch of hype, not concrete stuff.

Remember that the extra power the 360 and ps3 has over the wii is not only good for graphics.  There is the A.I. of the characters, the physic in the environnement, the nomber of ennemy the machine can render on the screen at once...    All those need as much power as the graphics.  In the long term, you will not only get better graphics with a 360 or the ps3.

The 360 and PS3 are both powerhouses for console gaming.  Games are becoming more crossed platformed with a few only for a particular console.  If price is no consideration, in your choice, then pick the console that matches your gaming preferences.  Either choice is a good one.  If online gaming is big with you then Microsoft is clearly ahead in that department so far.  Good Luck and Great Gaming with whatever system you decide on.

Mate, both consoles have there pro's and con's, and when all is said & done very similar. Both will always have there 'exclussive' games also.

I have an X360, my mate has a PS3, they both do the same thing, except his has BlueRay. I would say let the price decide but once you purchase a HDDVD for the X360 it probably works out the same. All depends on what you like the feel for.

More reliable?  Like, burning up in the beta testing reliable?  Like fire hazard reliable?  Or like, heres is 5 for the entire country reliable.  OR MAYBE! like here are some "good" games reliable....I'm lookin at you gundam game.

Get a 360, It's an amazing console that still is growing.  The online is astounding, the games are good, we have more interesting games coming out this year, what does PS3 have?  Home?  Little big world, woooo!  Look, you get the same graphics, for a cheaper price.  AND THEY ARE THE SAME GRAPHICS, I HAVE BOTH CONSOLES, OBLIVION ON THE PS3, HAS BETTER GRASS, WOOOOOO!!!!!!!11!!1.  Big deal.  360 is the way to go, and if the blu ray is concerining you, I hear that dvd makers are looking to make DVDs, that work on both blu ray and HD DVD, and they play at max performance.  360 my friend, 360.
