Cool list of the top 15 xbox live arcade titles thus far

Eh. I think most of the rehashed games like Doom and Contra are a big friggin' waste of time and resources. I've played those games already, you know, back when they were relevant.

I guess they appeal to the kids that have never played them or the older folks looking to relive the 'good ol' days', but to me they suck and shouldn't be on the list.

More originals, less rehashed crap please. Thanks!

I think that Geometry Wars should be #1, but that's just my opinion.:)zobo93

XBLA is so awesome, and now we get Prince of Persia Classic! I love my Xbox.

Boom Boom Rocket is pretty fun. But it's only really fun if you have some pretty good dexterity to move your thumb as fast as it can.

It's just some mindless entertainment that gets pretty intens.

Geometry Wars deserves to be #2 though. I just wish there was a larger field with co-op play. 

Double Dragon is has neither aged well enough nor is it emulated well enough to be on that list.

Contra is in the same boat, because its the arcade game and not the excellent NES game. 

This list is awful.

They say that Marble Blast Ultra is better than Super Monkey Ball... WRONG. When you take monkeys out of the equation, you miss the entire point.

Contra shouldn't be on the list. Maybe if the NES version were never made, but as it stands, this version of the game deserves as little credit as possible.

Mutant Storm Reloaded is Geo Wars for Dummies. Take it off the list.

Eets Chowdown is kinda like Lemmings. Except that Lemmings was good.

I know I'm flamebait for this, but Mortal Kombat sucks. It sucked back then, it sucks now. The only appeal of it is the gratuitious violence -- which stopped being new when other games started trying to match the gore in the first game and started actually wrapping a good game around it.

Lumines should also be much higher on that list. And Castlevania SOTN is an overrated game... it's a decent game, but it's not half as good as people think it is. Castlevania without a whip isn't Castlevania, but I'll give the game credit insofar as it's a decent platformer in its own right.

EDIT: Just my opinion, by the way... I imagine something in this post is uber-flamebait (probably the Castlevania part... which I do NOT take back).
