Co-Op campaign games....

Just wondering if anybody could suggest any good co-op games that have co-op modes for the actual campaign for the 360. I only know of Gears of War and of course Earth Defense Force. I just don't understand why R6:Vegas and GRAW 2 don't have true compaign co-op modes (Unless it's a paid feature I'm not aware of?). Sure they let you play the campaign maps, but they don't let you progress through the stories unless you play single player :(

So again, any suggestions besides Gears of War and Earth Defense Force?

Edit--- Also split screen, not online co-op.

Hmm.... I played it before, didn't like it very much. I heard Saints Row has a co-op mode... Is it just for certain missions or can you play all the way through with 2 people?

Dont bother, its only two missions for Saints Row co-op. Marvel Ultimate Alliance has good splitscreen co-op, if your into those kinds of games.

While GRAW doesn't have a continuous co-op campaign (at least the first one), it has plenty of options for co-op gametypes. Trying to last 10 minutes in a defend with infinite enemies is a personal fave.

I know the PS2 version of Splinter Cell Double Agent had split screen multiplayer, but I think the 360 version is different missions and online only; check the review for details if this interests you.

Just thought ofMonster Madness. There are some XBLA games that are local 2 player co-op; Cloning Clyde, Wik : Fable of Souls, Doom (I assume), Smash TV, Gauntlet... I'm sure there are some more XBLA games that are two player co-op. This assumes you have your 360 hooked up to the net.

this is were a lot of developers r missing the boat. Playing games together is one of the ways me and my girl spend time together, she gets piss if i buy a game that isn't co-op cause she doesn't want to sit and watch me play so need less to say i'm missin out on a lot of games...

Borderlands is 4 player co-op .Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 you can play with 4 friends co-op. Resident Evil 5 is a good on for 2 person co-op. Gears of War 1 or 2 is really good for 2 player co-op. Halo 2 (mabe 3?) can go 4 player co-op. Halo ODST is good co-op (i thinks its only 2 player co-op). Army of two is alright for co-op. Kingdom Under Fire Circle of Doom is 4 player co-op I think. Those are the only I can think of that are actually good games with good co-op. I could name some others but they would be bad co-op games.

thanx i own most of those but didn't know about Kingdom Under Fire Circle of Doom i'll show it to her and see if it something we can get... i know she wants army of two she likes the demo and want me to get the old one and the new one when it gets out... once again thanx for the help
