Co-op the future? Come on Anyone remember Brute Force For the Xbox that was last gen and was one of the begginings to the co-op style of play so i wouldnt say future just being added more to games, but online MP will always rule over co-op its just a cool feature to beat a game with your friend
Id love to see more Co-Op games but some companies just done make them anymore, i personally like to play with my Friends over live progressing through the story in Co-Op in a game. Hopefully will see more games like this in the future.
i don't think it'll ever topple multiplayer deathmatch, but co-op sure is alot more fun sometimes. i had a blast playing gears os war and crackdown on co-op.
Coop through campaign mode is the ultimate in gaming for a lot of people.. including me. There is no reason why you can't have both coop and multiplayer. Could you imagine HITMAN with coop?? Amazing.. Oblivion for that matter... I mean the possibilities are endless..

I mean, Super Nintendo games have had co-op, heck even a few NES games had it! Co-op isn't something that was just recently introduced, its been around for a long time. Before you guys start asking for proof, here ya go.

This is just barely scratching the surface... There are a ton more for pretty much every older system

Agreed. Playing deathmatch and team elimination games only last for so long. It'd be nice to also have a co-op mode for the storyline.

I agree. If it was added more to longer campaigns or games like Oblivion, Mass Effect, or Brothers in Arms (through the SP game). That would be great.
