though I would not reccomend the core system with the core system you get the 360, standard AV cables and a wired controller with the premium you get the 360, a 20 gig hard drive, HD component cables, standard AV cables, a wireless controller and either an xbox live headset or a media remote (depending on which country you live in) the premium may be more expensive but it winds up being much cheaper than buying the core system and upgrading your setup gradually

Take it from someone who bought the core and then had to buy a HD later, don't buy a core. You can't do anything on Live without it. You can't even setup Live without a HD. Getting the Premium ends up being more cost-effective.

yeah, spend the extra 100 dollars. it is worth it.
