As a long time addict of Counter-Strike on the PC, I personally think it would suck without my trusty mouse and keyboard. I played the Xbox version a while back, which is essentially Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and wasn't too fond of it, although it seems like it would be enjoyable for someone who never played the PC version. However, it was released in 2003, at which point pretty much every computer on the planet would run the game. The Xbox 360 could easily handle Source.
I do still play it on my PC. I've just heard some talk about it and even heard of some petition or something. I'm curious to finally hear everybody else's reactions to it as well.Â
Counter-Strike is one of those few exceptions where the PC matches Xbox Live in terms of convenience. Usually you have to string it all together with an application like Xfire, but with Steam's friend network up and running, text chat is more convenient than Xbox 360's, and it lets you joins others' games. It's one of the few cases where integrating with Xbox Live wouldn't be much of an upgrade.
