Ok this might not be a good idea but since I wanted to protect my 360 from dust, every time I'm done playing I wait for at least an hour and then put a sweater (because I couldn't find a extra towel) on my 360 to prevent it from collecting dust. Do you think this will cause any problems like keeping the heat in the 360? Because before I just put the sweater on the 360 after I was done playing but then I thought, won't the heat get stuck in there? So I was thinking about covering the 360 after it cooled down like a couple hours later from when I played.

Oh yeah and if you suggest that I just clean the 360, I can't do that because I'm afraid of breaking something or not getting all the dust and that might cause future problems.

Thanks to whoever replies =)

Edited: Ok I took the sweater off now but I was wondering, did I damage my 360? I only put the sweater on it two times since I played but was worried so do you think I messed up my console or do you think it'll be fine now that I stopped putting the sweater on it?

Do not do that again. Ever. If a piece of fabric from the sweater gets clogged in a vent, you have officially screwed your Xbox. And you're right, you shouldn't blow air into it. Use a little shop vac to suck the dust out of it. Quick easy and the most efficient way to clean your 360 If worst comes to worst, you get the Red Rings of Death and you're without your Xbox for a week or two. Not a bad deal. Even if I'm not going to play it, I turn my Xbox on for about 5 minutes a day just to get everything working. You shouldn't worry about the Red Rings because you probably won't get them

Alright thanks for the advice. I was really worried that I was messing myself over by doing this. Hopefully I haven't damaged anything because my 360 froze once but thats pretty much it.

Besides the fact that, that's really weird, you shouldn't do that. Sweaters have a very heavy fabric, and that could clog the airways to your cooling system. Not a good thing.

Do you think I messed up my 360? Because I only did this like about 2 times since I played. Do you think I could have already damaged it or is it still fine? Sorry for asking so much I just want to make sure it won't break any time soon. Oh yeah and I took off the sweater now since I read your post ^^'
