Crackdown or Dead Rising w/ coupon?

So in this weeks E-B Games newsletter there is a $10 off any used 360 game priced @ 24.99 or higher. I looked today and Crackdown would cost $24.99 and dead Rising $17.99 after coupon. I play some online w/ friends, but majority of gaming is solo play.

With the prices in mind.... which game should I/ would you pick up?

Dead Rising. Crackdown is alot of fun for the first 10 hours. Then you beat it and its done, its boring once you finish it. and if you level up as quickly as i did the boss fights are a joke.

Is Dead Rising sweet on a standard def tv? NavigatorsGhost

I'd say go with Dead Rising, Crackdown only kept me entertained until I 'beat' it and then I sold it. I snatched it from my work last week to try out the new downloadable content and it made it fun again to me for maybe 3 more hours. Dead Rising has kept me entertained for many play throughs of the game, and I still enjoy popping it in once in a while to just screw around and it's cheaper!Scarface_tm431

Dead Rising was pretty frustrating. A terrible check point system, some bugs, and less than desirable controls. I generally like zombie horror survival type games. Dead Rising wasn't worth the hype it gets on here by some people, IMHO.

This Thread isn't really going to help you even if the feedback you get is 100% Dead Rising or 100% Crackdown.

They are both completely different games and the answer to which one is better, is subjective.

I went with crackdown for online co-op. Got it for $22 with tax, not too shabby.

Dead Rising is a must have, but with its popularity and saturation... I'll score it in a few more months for $10 or less. This is a win/ win situation.
