Sc:da is cool, the multiplayer was also innovatibe but i dont honestly know who might still be playing it... i sold the game long time ago. Anyways the single player campaign is good.
Crackdown.... I've only played the demo (you can download it yourself aswell and judge) and i dont like it.
Both are mediocre and over the top. I've owned both and personally the better experience was with Crackdown but graphics and story its gotta go to Splinter Cell.
depends what you look for in a game, spliter cell is a real challange and a hard game but if you get stuck you can find videos on youtube that tell you how to do it anyways. theys alot of depth to the game, good story and actually forces you to make choices on which way u want the agent to swing. do you tend to side more with the terrorists and maybe help them on in some ways to maximize ur secret agent cover and do real bad things for the greater good or do you follow your orders right down the line and do the minimum needed for the terrorists trust but end up with them not having much confidince in you. but in the end you done the right thing. graphics are really good, espieally on sam. and if you know what to do to finish the level then its really great fun to play. great game espieally for the price it sells and its not even showing any signs of being a bit dated since it was one of the first xbox games it stands up really well among others crackdown is just a pure blast. imagine GTA where your a policeman. infact ur no police man ur like ROBOCOP. you can jump really high and scale buildings. yeah the storyline and lack of cut scenes dont amount to much but the gameplay is pure out and out fun. you basically got thousands of gang members to take out. ur missions are always find the 7/8 bosses of each gang, find where they hang out then break in and take out as many gang members as you and finally kill they boss. once you killed the bosses go for the king pin then the citys saved. its a bit repetitive as the goal and aims for every mission are basically the same, but if you love jumping and running around in a free roam city like gta etc and blowing everything up (as well as having that free roam elemenent please ur self - cause trouble and run people over crack from gta) then you should have some fun. its bascially like gta but with it based firmly around shooting and fighting groups of gangs. both games are dirt cheap now and both great fun. crack downs is best for a pure thrash about for a hour or so, splinter cells better for if you want a game to get your teeth into and comit a decent length of time to it. more a thinking mans game splinter cell, and crackdowns for anyone who just wants to run around and cause a riot in a city
i think u should get vcrackdown. i only played the first splinter cell game it was alright. crackdown is a rip off of gta but it is a lot of fun to play. i get realy fun when u get 4 stars on agility and just start jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
People seem to like crackdown a lot more but I didnt like it too much. Although it had it's interesting moments, I found Double Agent to have the lasting appeal. That's just my opinion, but you should definitely check out both just in case you might like one or the another, or both. :)
crack down if your looking for more excitement, its a good game, ive been meaning to get SC for a while now but something always comes up :P so i cant recommend SC for that reason. if you can get both there cheap used may be 40$ together
