the only way you will be able to get the halo 3 beta is if you preorder it at your local gamestop/eb games store. regular walk in customers that didnt preorder it will get the crackdown version without the beta.TONY55actually while they say Limited cpoies with H3 beta are avialable that really means Until the beta ends you can get in the password for the beta and the option to launch the beta are both in the games menus
I enjoyed the Demo, especially since the abilities you get a taste of can be developed even further. As far as i'm concerned the Halo 3 beta is just a bonus.... I'm getting this one regardless :P
Good point, I have played the demo many times. With the co-op feature will make it more fun. Although I have played this demo several times, the demos in some cases are more fun. Such as I loved the CofD 2 demo I played it several times, but when I switched over to the real game I kind of got bored with it. I'm just putting up a devils advocate. Do not let me sway your opinion I think I will get this game mainly because of Halo 3 Beta. If it didnt include this I would probably just rent it. Don't think anyone I know will get this so co-op won't be that much fun for me. On the other hand Halo 3 is giving me the heebee jeebees! So I say if you have a little money in your pocket or been saving up for this go and buy it, or wait for the wonderful Gamespot.com to rate it and then get it and hope there's still that one copy of limited edition Halo 3 Beta for you. Mmmmm Halo + Crackdown.simpsonzfan99
I liked COD2...COD3 I was very dissapointed with. Pretty much the same game, but zipping and zagging from place to place. HALO3 cant wait for. That game will put up major sales records. I hope it does not dissappoint me like Halo2.
Although it has the same premesis of GTA it is far different. I haven't played GTA too much but the time that I have played it, it was very fun. Building skills, missions, and just roaming around. This game's missions are a bit bland from what I have played, and the leveling of the skills is way too easy. When I was playing the demo of Crackdown my character reached his peak for strentgh. If I can accomplish this in around 40 minutes it tells me there isn't a whole lot to this game. So, after I reached my peak for strength (well atleast I think) I went on a mission, and jumped around everyone went up to the "boss" and kicked him, oh, maybe six times and he was dead. The mission briefing came up saying the great job I did. If the game revolves around these types of missions (only killing "bosses") then this will be a fun game at first and then grow into a bitterly tasted blandness. In GTA there were tons of missions, including stealth, drive-by, and controlling airplanes. I think this game would be worth the $60 only if you get the Halo 3 Beta with it! Once your done roaming around in the city of wherever in Crackdown you can switch over to Halo 3 and kick some Brute butt online (and you know you can tell everyone I played Halo 3 and *cough* when pronouncing the beta at the end ) simpsonzfan99You obviously didn't see the note at the top of the screen, as you load up, that says that the demo has " accelerated developement ". The full version of the game will take you much longer to reach peak power, and the peak will be much more extreme.... I think this game will be one to look forward too... at least it will keep me busy until Halo 3 and GTA 4 come out...
