You will prbably have to call your ISP that doesnt really have anything to do with the Xbox. Make sure when playing that no one else is using the internet and you can also try rebooting your router to see if that helps.

I have to admit thats the same thing i was thinking... the odd thing is this only seems to happen on halo, and it seems odd to have 3-5 games with a great connection and then BANG! connection just dies and the matchs are unplayable... just seems odd that it happens on halo and nothing else.

any thoughts?

a friend just told me it can sometimes happen because of the time of day, he said that times like 3pm-6pm can have high levels of people online in your area and lowers connection speeds.

is this true or does it have no impact if my hole streets online?

I can only agree about the crazy lag on Halo 3. I just started playing it online and have been getting said lag. Thing is Modern Warfare 2 has way more players but the connection is much better. I'd guess that the more people play the less lag there will be because of latency and ping (distance from other player, how responsive the server is). Also, Halo 3's network is dated, I'd bet. Is this a new issue? Anyone else noticed lag?
