Am I the only person around who is super pumped for this game? It seems way under-hyped.

I am somewhat pumped. I am more excited for Rage though and that game gets very little hype as well.I would say Crysis 2 gets more hype than Rage.
Yeah Rage does seem more appealing than Crysis 2, looks much more interesting. [QUOTE="monkeysmoke"]Crysis 2 & Rage will be great but graphics is their main selling point. Halo Reach will worth the $60 price better because it featurs all the multiplayer mode from all halo series including (customizable fire fight) & good graphics also. Halo CE+Halo 2+Halo 3+Halo ODST = Halo Reach. Not everyone only cares about MP, there hasn't been a word said about Rages MP, people are interested in the SP.I am somewhat pumped. Oh yeah definitely, me too.
Me too. It looks amazing. more than amazing for me :D looking mighty forwards to it 8)I'm kinda interested (and somewhat perplexed based on what I've seen so far) in how they're approaching the story this time around. The hands-down weakest element of the first Crysis was the storyline. It was kinda obvious that it took a backseat to the graphics and the nanosuit gameplay. Once I traveled into the alien habitat, the game just lost steam and lost my interest.
Also, I'm still skeptical about the game's "open-endedness" compared to the first. Yes, Crysis was still linear, but (for the first half of the game at least) I was given a large area in which to operate in any given mission. Most of the time there were multiple ways to approach an objective, and combined with the suit power, I found myself replaying many parts of the game just to see how I could do them differently. I just hope that in Crysis 2 I am still able to explore the space as much as I could before and that the game doesn't become "confined."
