Although It would be cool I don't think It will happen. Plus I don't want any watered down version of a good game.

Since Crysis is a tech demo as much as it is a game I doubt they would reduce the graphical fidelity in order to port it to a console.

On the contrary, I believe that Crysis would do ok on the 360. It may have to be scaled down some if you compare it to it's highest graphics settings possible on the PC, but I think it could run on "medium" settings from the PC version to the 360. What is the 360? Like 3.2 Ghz processor, 256 MB RAM and 256MB graphics card (or like 512 MB total that's shared I think)? I think the 360 could handle it. Now don't go throwing stuff at me like the PC version requires at least 1GB of RAM, at least 256 MB graphics, and at least 2.8 Ghz, because we all know that PC's are processing more things at once than a 360 would have to.

But in retrospect, I think if they were going to port it over to the 360, we would've seen it already.

From what I took from playing the demo (again just my impressions from the demo on PC) Crysis is a pretty game, but's basically it. It doesn't revolutionize the shooter, doesn't really bring any new storyline or gameplay elements to the table, it's kind of a generic FPS is with a really, really, really, good coat of paint. That said, I would not buy it, good looking graphics are sick for like the first 10 minutes of a game, and then you go "Ok, well how does this game play?" I mean it's not like Crysis was broken or even bad persay but I would not consider it an an "awesome" game based purely off of the graphics.

The engine is being worked into consoles (ps3, 360) but Crysis is NOT coming to consoles.

I know they want to bring the engine to consoles which means games that have the look and feel of Crysis, but I doubt the game itself will get ported. Besides, they could make a better game, and probably should once they try to appeal to the broader audience of console gaming.

There are some rumblings that Crysis may hit both the 360 and PS3, but knowing how my just recently built PC gaming rig cries under Crysis, I seriously doubt they'll release it (unless it is a watered down version).

Allthough this would be awesome to have it has allready been stated that it will not happen. To brighten things though Far Cry 2 is going to be exactly the same on the 360 and PS3 as it is on PC and the videos shows that it has crysis like graphics and increadible effects so keep watch for that one this November.

Really? That's a shame then, the developers not taking full advantage of PC hardware, Oh well, its visuals are not up to crysis standards.

i wouldn't count on it. even if the 360 is entirely capable of running the game, i doubt that the actual gameplay will keep people playing this over any other big chooter today.
