I don't understand why people even want this... the only reason to own crysis would be for the ridiculous graphics, the gameplay is mediocre at best. Since the 360 couldn't come anywhere near running crysis at high settings what is even the point?
There was a news article about Crytec making their future games for consoles as well as PCs, mostly because of PC games being pirated or something. I either read it from here or game informer. So I guess there is a chance...I mean, Farcry II is coming on 360.
Yes it has been said and would be a smart move. The game is okay. The thign is most people even the PC gamer will probally actually be able to play the real game if it come to the consoles. It's retarded how you need a frekin super computer and how people have barley tough the High graphics setting because of the damn requirments. That whta make the game overrarted. The damn graphics but they can fix that mistake.
I've heard that Crysis' gameplay isnt all that great. I heard it's very good though and I think due mostly to the eye candy graphics.
I dont think Crysis will ever come to the consoles because the PC hardware market will lose millions. There wouldnt be much of a reason for PC gamers to upgrade or build new PCs to run Crysis games when they can just purchase an Xbox 360 or a PS3 to play the game with less headache and without burning a hole in their wallet. If you think about it, it's true. Although, I can see a Crysis spin-off being made or maybe down the line when Crysis isnt as hot on the market. Sorta like what they did with Oblivion. So dont expect Crysis on the consoles any time soon.
To all those people that think Crysis cant be made for the consoles are wrong. The "PC Crysis" isnt going to be able to run on consoles but you can dumb it down. And I bet the dumb downed version will still look really damn good. Take Far Cry 2 for example. It looks gorgeous. Ubisoft pretty much showed off how much they can do with graphics and it isnt far off from Crysis on the PC. It can be done. It may not be technically as efficient and high quality as Crysis on the PC but I bet it would be pretty darn close.
With how well Crysis worked on my gamepad (which I had plugged in for another game, started rumbling when I loaded up crysis for a second play through), I'm sure they're working on it. Maybe not crysis itself, but the engine. Well they already confirmed that anyway.
Seriously though, it controlled amazingly with the gamepad, and I thought It'd be a joke. Better than CoD4 controls.
what sort or moron would pay money for crysis on console? It's single player is decent but it's multiplayer is dissturbingly terrible.. and lets face it multiplayer is the core of most games these days.
