GTAIV was probably the most disappointing game I bought for the 360. I had a lot of expectations, granted, but it failed to deliver on some of my most basic wants in a GTA game. Plus, I wasn't happy with the graphics. They weren't bad, necessarily, but they seemed to have this blur to them, kinda like San Andreas on the PS2 had, but at least in that game you could turn that 'effect' off and have things look a bit clearer. Really annoyed me as it made the whole game look fuzzy and blurry.
Another game that really let me down was Far Cry 2. I actually really like the game, its just that its multiplayer aspect was just done soooo wrong. For one, the hit detection is akward as hell which makes it really hard to get skilled kills, and also, the inability to do ranked matches with custom maps(one of the greatest things about the game). If you wanted to play on user-created maps, you had to do a player match, which makes you start out at the lowest rank, and you had to earn your upgrades each time. Which was very hard to do because a lot of rooms die and then you'd have to start all over in a new room. Far Cry 2's multiplayer could have been one of the best of this generation, but they just messed it up pretty badly.
