I have been playing the UFC demo a lot on expert mode, and i think i probably won 1 out of 100 times because I suck at the reversal from the mounted position. I wish the reversal system was a bit easier or a little more responsive...maybe its the fustration talking, but damn. Poor Chuck is always getting hammer fisted by shogun on my tv. I wanna make it stop.

ya, when you are mounted it seems pretty hard to get them off of you. But in that regard it is pretty realistic... but try and do just the rotations on the RS that they say. So only rotate it from 0 to 90 degrees or 90 to 180 and so forth, bounce back and forth between them till you find one that works. They rotations correspond with what direction you want him to move too, thus if one direction is blocked try another one, i hope that helps a little but it still is a great game thusfar i think

Try and lock the head up when hes on top of you so he cant hit you as hard and then go for the reversal. Thats what i usually do and it works better but they still block movements like crazy.

Same problem here, I can win on advanced but as soon as I bump it up to expert it just seems impossible once they get to the mat

Pretty simple actually, I haven't lost to Shogun on expert in a while. When he takes you down hold your toggle back and wait for him to make the first move to improve his position, once you block it swing your toggles and try to kick him off, doesn't always work the first time but once you get better at it timing plays the biggest role. Gotta know when to let your guard down and when to keep it up. Not that you should really be getting taken down anyways, sprawling is pretty easy in this game! (Long as you don't get hit by a high kick or flying knee that dazes you :D ) Don't get overly aggressive and you'll be fine! (Make him pay with knees when he tries to shoot, usually knocks him out with chucks power xD )
