Dark Souls is harder than Mass Effect?

I died sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many times in ME and ME2 because of cheap enemies that kill you in two or three shots. In some playthroughs it was impossible to finish. Peeps are saying Dark Souls is the hardest game this gen, how hard must it be then?

Dark Souls is far, far more difficult. Some sections required me replaying (damn those boss fights) several dozen times. ME on Insanity is pretty tough at parts, but it really isn't anything compared to Dark Souls.

i haven't really played mass effect but dark souls is hard as sh*t. to anyone that's thinking about buying it: be prepared to die a LOT.

dude if you found Mass Effect hard don't even consider Dark Souls, just stay away from it and switch your difiiculty to casual

Ive beat both Mass effects and am pretty far in Dark Souls. Dark Souls is much, much harder than Mass Effect. Dark Souls can be daunting but i still believe anyone can beat it if they have the determination, patience, and strategy.

The only thing that's hard about Dark Souls is they don't tell you where to go and how to do ****. The rest of the game just takes patience and tactics...

I like ME series better as it has much better story, better characters, better music, controls better and it runs better ( not nearly as many spots where it slows down to low FPS).

Dark Souls/Demon Souls has better combat and is harder, thats it, everything else ME does better.

Dark souls is the hardest game ever and mass effect doesn't stand a chance against how hard it is :|

all depends on your playstyle.

Mass Effect can be challenging, at least some specific parts of the game, but it is nowhere near as difficult as Dark Souls.
