So, this game is AMAZING!

This is everything a sequel should be. It improves on the original in every aspect. It looks great, plays great, and has a really good story. It is by far my favorite game of 2012. I highly recommend on picking it up.

AND... To put some icing on the cake, Death is voiced by this guy:

Michael Wincott, AKA Captain Rochefort from the Three Musketters (1993), Top Dollar from The Crow, AND Guy of Gisborne from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

It looks like a solid game. But because the first game pissed me off so much, I am not sure I will get this game at full price right away.

I have a question for you TC. Are you experiencing any framerate issues? You know like when theres alot of action on screen...

Also did you download it to your hard drive?

I was also frustrated by the first one. I found some of the puzzles INSANELY difficult, and really really frustrating, and was also frustrated by some other aspects of the game. To this point, I've not yet been frustrated. Though I'm pretty early on, so it may change.

Honestly, no. To this point I've had no framerate issues, even with a large number of enemies on screen, and I did not download it to my hard drive. I wonder if you could be having issues due to being connected to the THQ servers? I'm not sure but they may be causing an issue.

Thx alot Patrick for the quick reply! I hope w/e it is causing the dips in framerates was just a fluke for me. I didn't install it and since you didn't have issues without the install I guess I will. Maybe it'll work for me. Thx again.

I'm enjoying the game as well. I'd have to say the beginning started a little slow IMO compared to the first game. But I'm anticipating it ramping up progressively. There were a few really cool moments though. I stopped about half way through the first game but thought the game itself was very very good. I'm hoping to get used to the controls again by playing the second so i can go back to the first game and not miss a beat. i was always putting it off because i didn't feel like relearning the controls.

Anyways I'm about 1.5 hours in and am looking forward to playing tonight.

Oh and I have the xbox 360 version playing off the disc with no framerate issues yet, but I have yet to encounter and bunch of enemies. There were a few areas with a couple of ice enemies on the screen but no lag as far as I can tell.

So, I experienced my first framerate issue today while playing, and I didn't have a lot of enemies on the screen at all. I was just walking around an empty dungeon, and my screen went black, and then came back a few seconds later. I don't know if you're referring to overall chopiness when there's a large number of enemies, or something like what I experienced. However, I'm about 10 hours of playtime in, and if I have one screen issue every 10 hours, I won't complain too much. That being said, I'm still loving the game. The further it goes, the more I love it. Great story, great leveling system, and I love the added loot system to the game. Maybe my favorite part. I love looking for new loot. And the additional side quests are also fun. Hope everyone else is enjoying it as much as me!!!!!

Well I'm at The Drenchfort now and so far no framerate dips. Playing off the disk. I ended up erasing my last save and just starting over.

Game is awesome and very addicting. Glad I made the purchase.

It definitely feels different. Death is a MUCH different character than War. But I really like the game more overall. Still has great visuals, a fun combat system, a good story line, and they added better rpg elements to the game. Definitely worth the pick up.

Well that's fantastic to hear! :D I will be getting it soon aswell as the one before it. One question: Does the story picks up from the first? Is it crucial to play it to understand what's going? Just curious.. ( FYI I will be ending up buying both anyways)

It does pick up from where the first one ended, BUT the beginning does give you a nice recap of the first game. I don't think you'd be lost if you played 2 without ever playing the original.
