Dashboard went "ugly" on me!

I don't know what happened. I was playing Vegas, pressed my guide button, pressed Y to return to the Dashboard like usual, and out of nowhere my font on my Dashboard is now a little blurry / fuzzy. Even when I navigate and highlight stuff, even some of my themes in the background...it just appears to be awkward now.

 I tried playing Gears of War today, and even the in-game dialog appears to be fuzzy. Saints Row was slightly worse, it looked a little bit darker in some areas and the font was also strangely blurry. All because of going to my Dashboard while playing a game? Something isn't right. I even checked my HD cables and everything there is to check, but it wasn't even touched. I still played with them anyways, took them back out, put them back in, etc...still the same thing. I just got back onto my 360 after 2 days of not playing, and still things look a little ugly-ish.

Has anyone ever had this problem? Thanks lots for any help! :( 

Re-check your screen resolution on your 360 settings. Make sure it's on HD and 720p.Hoobinator

I think mine only goes up to 420 if I'm not mistaken. :? (or is it 480? -_-)

Maybe its a sign that the red lights of death will be plaguing sometime soon. Join the club...cloudstrife75

It may have got changed from 50 to 60hz???

Yeah i kinda am... truth hurts a bit doesnt it? lol

And im only saying it in threads where people are having problems. Any SMALL sign of a problem is usually a sign of fun times with 18004MYXBOX and its employees to come! (sarcasim)

Wait a second... I've noticed this as well, but I never thought it was a problem. After upgrading to a new tv (32" @ 1080p), I noticed a few things were blurry, including the guide's text. So you're saying... this ISN'T normal? I just thought it was like that for everyone, which is why I never really complained.

That sucks... I'll try switchin' up some cables and see if that helps.  

Thanks man, at least I know now it should look crisp and clear (which it currently doesn't - and same with Halo 3....)

Maybe it's your cables.

Are you using an EDTV? 

hate to say it but that is wat happend 2 me and gradually got worse until i recieved the 3 red lights, aparently it was the video card in my 360 that went and the same fing could be happening 2 u

That just happened to me too today!! it started in spiderman 3 though, so i went to the dashboard... and the whole thing was shaking and the blues were messed up. I restarted the system though and everything seems to be fine nownickarate

Seems like the same thing that happened to my 360 before it broke on me. But mine also did it while I played games so maybe your's isn't as serious.
