Data cannot be transfered between profiles?

what the heck? i put all of my saved data on my bros box so that when i got my reach xbox i could use a usb flash drive and just move everything onto that and put it on the new hdd.. but now this is coming up. anyone know why???

that stuff is main;y stuff you downloaded. you can just redownload it when you get the new xbox. the reason you can't transfer this stuff is for the fact microsoft don't want people sharing payed for content. when you get your new system transfer the lincens on xbox website so any profile can use them. but if you move them to other xbox only the account downloaded it be able use itk2theswiss

maybe that why. i wasnt doing it on my own account i was doing it on my bros. and all of the stuff im trying to transfer isnt really downloaded stuff. its mainly all of my saves. like my 400hrs+ fallout 3 save. if i lose that......

ya you can't transfer game saves between profiles... you can put them on a million xboxs but only the account can play that save

recover your gamertag and you be able play them untill you get new xbox
