Dead Island Trouble?

Anyone else not able to continue with the main story due to a glitch when trying to escort Ope, the leader of a village in the Jungle, to the boat? He walks up to this small ledge which the boat happens to be right behind, then turns around and walks the other way. He proceeds to walk back in forth rather than doing anything so I'm unable to continue my game. Anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

that sucks. i have another glitch. i cant complete the quest "fortress of god"

i found the tool box that this guy wanted, but now when i try to give it to him, all he says is "look around the neighborhood" the stupid quest log says i just have to give it to him

Ugh this game is full of glitches, can't really blame it though as it's an open world RPG. I mean at least it's not at bad as Fallout New Vegas, thanks for the tip though I'll go ahead and try joining an online game. Good luck with your guys's glitches.

i know the solution to this. load your last check point and if your playing with a friend its easier. load your last checkpoint and try not to let ope take alot of damage cuz as soon as that happens his circle above his head turns red and thats what causes the glitch. if its white then he will get off the ledge . hope this helps
