What u guys think will Capcom do it?
Or will they just call it quits?

Capcom may or may not even consider it.
As a gamer I would like Dead Rising 2. The first one was great. :)
[QUOTE="_TheJoker_"]They are making the sequel, it was announced.vendettared468
when? link?
A long time ago, they said there might be a few. Search gamespots news history, I'm too tired.
With the open ending of the game, anything is and will be possible.
Pray to the game gods and they shall grant you Dead Rising 2, if not Lucifer is an option

I don't have the link, I read it a long time ago (2-3 months ago I think) and I like to think it was true.
BTW I read it in a couple of forums so I guess it was true after all.
And think about it, they still have to explain what happens with "SPOILER"
Frank being contaminated.
Isabela (they doesn't tell you what happens to her
The 50 kids (one for each state)
"END OF SPOILER"
Dead Rising sold a million units, so likely they'll make a sequel. one of the best games ever in my opinion.
and NO, there has not been an announcement for Dead Rising 2.
I love Dead Rising and need a sequel a.s.a.p.
The only thing that needs improvement... the only thing is the A.I. of the people you save. That is very difficult to get them to go to where you want too. I'm still working on getting a perfect with saving everybody. They are just too lame and the littlest of obstacles like the perfume stands, or bathrooms... confuse the holy hell out of them. Anybody have a parade of survivors with you and you waste 2 hours getting them to climb up into the vent? Everything else about the game is perfect.
I'd like a sequel as long as they get rid of that stupid timing. That took 75% of the fun out of the game. You had like 3 minutes/in game hours to explore and if you ran a minute late you'd fail every case which resulted in a game over unless you wanted to wait 2 days for the helicopter to show. The first one really wasn't fun to me because of that.
They did announce it a while ago. But they recently said they hadn't even started production yet.gazoz
If it's been confirmed or announced then do us all a favour and link to the site that confirmed it. The truth is, it's NOT been confirmed OR announced yet. The only thing that even comes close is this:

So... whilst it's likely that a sequel will happen, there's been no actual confirmation of a sequel by Capcom.
I really hope they do make it Dead Rising was really entertaining
I hope DR2 takes place in the City imagine running around a city full of Zombies also u can go it to any house or shop.. that would be so sweet.
also..
Co-op Would be wicked for Dead Rising 2

Although I understand your frustration with the scaled time in DR I can not agree with you that it made the game less enjoyable. Part of the game is managing your time and multitasking.
To stay on topic there most likely WILL BE a DR2. I think we may see less zombies and more area to play in. Think Silent Hill meets DR. Just my hope.
