Today I borrowed a copy of Dead Rising off a friend at school however, as I was playing it and exited the game, I couldn't find my save progress! As of this i have had to play the same introduction about seven times just to get up to where I was. When I do try to save progress, all it saves is my leveling but not my actual game progress! Please help!

You haveto save at a save point, like the sofa in the security room. They appear as a big S on the map.

Another example of why dead rising is one of the worst games on the 360.

heresy!

you can only save on the bench in the security room, or the multiple restrooms around the mall.

The save system is harsh, but once you accept it for what it is, it adds to the challenge of the game. You have to decide when to go back and save, or when to risk going on another mission

when you save it will ask you if you want to save and quit or keep playing. if you choose save and quit it wont save your mission progress.

ok wow, since no one actually answered his question, I will. You can save anytime, at a couch or bathroon, etc. However that only saves your level not your progress. The only way to save your pogress is to save at specific points in the game, specifically after each chapter. SAve during a chapter and it does nothing, save at the end of the chapter and you won't have to redo everything.

Fair enough , but this game was released witn the 1st year... my point is, take away the difficult/survial like save system a great game! I see no cause for calling it the worst game on the sytem when games like Avatar, Va,pire Rain, Hour of Victory and Jumper exist

Always chose to keep playing after saving. Then if your done just turn it off. When you turn on later it will be from where you saved. If you save and chose to stop playing it will start you over when you play again but with your levels intact. It took me a long time to figure this out and I even returned the game once. Brutal!
