Dead Rising vs Left 4 Dead?

To me, It's Dead Rising. Yeah, the Save System was a pain in the ass at first, but by the time you get use to it, you'll love the game, In my Experience. Also, the Time Limit gets repetitive at first, but I got use to it and love it. However, Left 4 Dead is a good game, same with the 2nd one,but I like Dead Rising better IMO.

Usually the people that say's "Dead Rising Sucks"only, nothing else, just sucks ass at it, usually (Don't Flame me).

Anyways, whats your favorite on the poll? If your going to say, why isn't Left 4 Dead 2 on their? Then pick Left 4 dead in the poll, their the same games, with a few more features on the 2nd one, so yeah. Anyways, whats your favorite and why.

Dead Rising is hard to love

Not only are you rushed the entire game with an awful save system (that the USB makes better but not what we in the business call "good") but then you can only save in certain locations.

Both are great games but you have to work harder to enjoy Dead Rising

well i find it hard to compare when one is a single player only exp while the other is mainly a MP exp. they are both good imo. I like Dead Rsing the way it is too. I miss the times when games actually gave a good challenge, nowadays everything is dumbed down. Also i felt the timing/ saving system didnt rush you. It really just added replay valaue. They never intended for you to be able to do everything in one playthrough so if you tried that of course you probably felt rushed. You had to play through Dead Rising 2 or 3 times to fully exp everything.

Besides having zombies and a mall, there's not much to compare them. The one that I find myself playing since last summer is L4D 1 & 2. When it comes to replay value I think the online aspect helps L4D. Dead risings, small text, time limit, save system and having to guide idiots just added up to what felt like a chore and not fun.

I have to go Left 4 Dead, but Dead Rising is still really fun. I think I would enjoy it better if you started out with an option to just play a kill zombies mode. I can't be asked to carry on a story in a game like Dead Rising. I just want to kill zombies.

I think I enjoyed Dead Rising more than I have ever enjoyed Left 4 dead. Not saying Left 4 dead is a bad game it was just not challenging (unless you count dealing with idiots over live) and didn't really grip me to want to play it again and again unless I'm playing with friends. With Deadriseing I had the excitement of finding something new almost every time I played new food, weapons, paths, crazy people, and fun.

I'd love to get that, but there's no way I can get the right ending. I can't be motivated to do missions.

I had a lot more fun with Dead Rising. There were just so many different ways to kill zombies instead of just shooting at them.

Could be the demo. Or maybe he got an early copy. Some stores give games out a couple days before release.

First off, comparing L4D to Dead Rising is like comparing apples to explosive barrels. They're both red, but that's about it. As for which is better, L4D all the way. Capcom has been sinking IMO the past 5 years, and I'm on my 4th playthrough on Dead Rising, each previous one foiled by being about 30 seconds too late, or by the lack of autosave, these days a standard feature.

Picked it up at a small video game shop near my place. So far I'm having a blast with it.

They are both great games, but other then having zombies in it there is little to compare them by. One is a cooperative FPS, the other is a survival game. I just play whichever one I am in the mood for.
