Dead space 2 CE plasma cutter

hey guys, i recently got the dead space 2 CE, and i was just wondering, the plasma cutter that comes with the game doesnt look anything like isaac's in-game. in fact, his PC looks identicle to the DS 1 Plasma cutter! whats the deal? am i not looking close enough? i do like the replica (even though i am disappointed by size+no rotate+cheap plastic material+no laser guide beams) but it seems it's just a completely random design to me?

The thing nearly fits in my palm alone. The Plasma Cutter I saw in GameStop photo is actually one you can buy seperately for $160.

I think it's identical to the DS1 plasma cutter. It's still a cool collectible, though.

How much did you spend? and you want a fully operational rotating gun (which would require a motor of some sort) and guided laser beams! and in full size:lol:. Try spending a few hundred at least on something like that!

the plasma cutter that comes in the CE isnt based off of the PC in DS1, its off the PC you get in DS2, it basically a flashlight and a "tissue cutting tool" combined, so thats why it probably doesnt look like the plasma cutter your thinking of.

Haha, I went into Gamestop, where I happen to work, and my manager had opened his copy that was given to him. The plasma cutter was a complete and utter joke. The worst part of all was that the trigger felt so loose, that just slightly wiggling it made it feel like it was going to snap.

It reminded me of the scene from the first Men in Black, where Will Smith was handed the Noisy Cricket, and he said that he felt like he was going to break the **** thing. Well, we got a good laugh from that.

Honestly, with the exception of a few "collector's editions", like the Helghast Edition for Killzone 3, it seems like the developers put 0 effort anymore towards the limited editions. I remember the days where you got t-shirts, watches, movies, and so on. Oh well. Here's hoping that collector's editions get some real effort put into them to make them worth having, and not sitting around keeping the dust happy.

Wow that's pretty sad. They really made the CE Plasma Cutter look like it was going to be very big, and detailed. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on it.
