Dead Space 2 Officially Announced

That's right guys. What a surprise! Can't wait. However no release date yet. Here's something from the press release:

"Visceral Games, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio announced today that the award-winning Dead Space franchise will continue to frighten gamers with its stunning sequel, Dead Space 2. I hope it has a co-op system

It was officially anounced back in September when EA said it was going into production "in the coming months". This must the be the "coming months" they were talking about.

So, EA themselves saying it was going into full production in a few months isn't official?

That makes no sense. The people that publish/develop the game saying it's going into production soon is the most official announcement possible.

Games have stopped production so how it is a pretty sure answer, it's still not a sure thing.

Anyway, You could still go alone, but i'd still like for them to have a scary feel with co-op. Maybe you guys get split up, or if you go first somethings going to pop up, or fall. To maybe have friends fighting over who goes first, etc. I've always wanted to see a scary co-op game.

I'm sure they could work things out.

At least I will have time to finish the first one!:) Am just going through chapter 3...Love the game. This and Bioshock are my favourite shooter games.

I have the original, I'm going to finish it sometime this week. Glad to hear a sequel is in the works, we need more Survival Horror titles. Can't wait for Dead Space 2 and Alan Wake.
