Ok. Heres what i thought happened: That blonde girl that gave herself a shot and "ended" it at the end didnt kill herself. She injected herself with whatever turned all those crew members to monsters. She was on the shuttle when she did it and when he took off in the shuttle she killed him?

What exactly happened when he left in the shuttle? It happened so fast i didnt really realize what was going on?

A lot of things can be taken from the ending, but a lot of people grew attach to the silent protaganist so expect to see Clarke return for a sequel. I know I would want that. Excellent game btw.
to add to the confussion, if you take the first letter from each chapter it spells out n.i.c.o.l.e. i.s. a.l.i.v.e.. nicole is issacs wife who he was searching for.

The thing is, she didn't look like the standard Necros. I allways felt it was the affects of the Marker still playing tricks on Isaac's mind and him seeing Nicole was a hallucination.

He is attacked by what looks like his wife/girlfriend (totally caught me off-guard by the way :P) but she doesn't look like a necromorph so I think it's just his imagination, that he's also been affected by madness or the Marker or something. Considering all things Isaac saw and went through, his mental condition must be rather flimsy.

I think the ending is fantastic. I love films where the protagonist is killed off at the end, and games are no different in that respect. Perhaps I just have a dark streak in me :wink:

I did a wikipedia search after i posted this and it says that the game dev says Issack is still alive so hopefully we get some kind of sequel...

I got the impression the marker was messing with his head.
Nicole didn't fully look like a necromorph.
In the animated comic and movie, eventually everyone ends up going crazy due to the marker.
